Sustainability is also playing an increasing role within Le Duc. The factory works with energy-efficient techniques to reduce CO2 emissions and is constantly looking for environmentally friendly solutions. “Nice to see how we are being more conscious with raw materials and energy,” said Teun.

“I still do my job with great joy,” says Teun. “I go to work whistling and come home whistling. That says it all.” Outside of work, Teun is also a busy bee. He enjoys cycling, loves gardening, cooks with passion and is active in a men's choir. His favorite Le Duc snack? “Nacho Cheese Bites, filled with cheddar cheese and enriched with spices.” They are also thoroughly enjoyed at home. “My wife loves them,” he laughs.

Teun Luime: Senior Operator Production

In May 2025, Teun Luime will celebrate a special milestone: 25 years of service at Le Duc! What started as a job in production grew into a career full of innovation and craftsmanship. Le Duc produces vegetarian snacks that are sold worldwide. “Great to be part of this,” says Teun enthusiastically. “Thanks to growth and automation, the production capacity has increased tremendously.”

As Senior Operator Production, Teun works in the middle of the factory where the Le Duc products are made every day. He ensures that the production process runs smoothly and performs checks to ensure quality. His focus is on the production line of onion rings, where he closely monitors numbers, weight and compositions.


Over the past 25 years, Teun has seen many changes. “Where a lot used to be done by hand, machines are now largely taking over. Speed and efficiency have increased tremendously, without compromising on quality.” Team spirit is also important to Teun. “We are a close team, go on team outings together and share joys and sorrows with each other. That makes the work extra special.”
