Introducing...

Marion really enjoys working in the market that never stands still. "The food sector is always changing and evolving, when it comes to trends, but also legislation." This is a challenge, in particular because Le Duc is active worldwide, because other markets develop in different ways and, needless to say, work with different legislation. But according to Marion, this is precisely what makes her work interesting.

For Marion, 2024 will be all about further development in her new role as Product Manager, something she is very much looking forward to. She is also ready to get cracking with launching fun, new introductions!

Marion van Hooren: Product Manager at Le Duc

In this edition, we introduce you to Marion van Hooren. Originally from the Veluwe region in the east of the Netherlands, Marion ended up in the western part of the Netherlands approximately 8 years ago, where she soon ended up working for Le Duc. Her adventure with Le Duc started almost 7 years ago, and she has watched the company grow significantly since then. She felt at home straight away in the down to us, no nonsense, mentality of the company, which instantly felt like an excellent match.

Marion started working at Le Duc 7 years ago as a Sales Support employee. It was a fairly broad position, in which she was responsible for packaging development and new product, registrations, as well as organizing trade fairs, and product sampling. As a result, she was able to develop her skills while also getting to know all the ins and outs of the company.

Her current position as Product Manager comes with a versatile range of tasks. She handles various aspects of product development: from drafting strategic plans for new launches and tracking new trends, to measuring the results of launched products. Marion is involved in the entire process. Sometimes this poses a challenge, but at the same time, it is the reason why this position suits her so well.

And so this addition of Snackables is entirely dedicated to colorful food and crispy taste experiences. Get ready for a range of flavourful recipes and creative serving tips that will help you create the most delicious and colorful dishes for your guests, just the ticket for spring. From a refreshing salad to taco cups, with mango, salsa, or a delicious Indian inspired platter. Given that spring is already all about color and colorful food is massively on the rise, for this edition we plan to dive into the food trend of the season: colorful recipes.

Cheese is also having a comeback moment now that traditional French cuisine is back. Needless to say, cheese has been great vegetarian option on the menu for years already, but these days we see this delicacy, make an appearance on the menu in all kinds of ways. As you know, at Le Duc, we can't get enough of cheese, so this addition takes an in-depth look at our wide range of cheesy snacks.
